Isaiah chapter 45: Called by name

45:4  ‘I have called you by name, made you who you are, And bestowed an honourable title on you, even though you don’t know Me ….’

Are we comfortable in our skin in front of the mirror? Self-image is important by a world driven by competition, status and perception. Yet, we must know that we are more precious, more valued, more special to Another than we are to ourselves. Whatever misconceptions, false images we put on ourselves or others put on us we can be assured that we are called by name and loved infinitely not because of anything we have said or done but because we simply are. What a truth! And what a responsibility!
